AEV's 3.6L Fan Conversion Wiring Harness allows for the addition of the 2012+ Jeep 3.6L cooling fan in the 2007-11 JK Wrangler, with or without a HEMI V8. Older 3.8L JK fans are starting to wear out, which gradually decreases cooling performance without the user knowing it and can cause a heavy, modified JK to easily overheat in hot weather. In 2012, with the addition of the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine, the fan output was nearly doubled due to the aluminum head design which essentially has the exhaust manifold built-in and cooled with engine coolant. Surprisingly, although it has a smaller displacement, the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine has greater cooling requirements than a 6.4L Hemi V8! Adding.
