Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what Rig Builder (RigBuilder LLC) collects on rigbuilder.com, how we use it, and your choices.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email and login information
  • Your Jeep: year, model, trim, engine, color, options, and the Jeeps in My Garage
  • Photos you upload to preview parts, plus the builds and pictures you save or share
  • Messages: contact form, email, reviews, fitment reports and community posts
  • Shop requests: details you enter for a shop quote go to that shop
  • Orders: name, shipping and billing address, phone, email and items. Card payments are handled by Stripe, and we never receive your full card number.
  • Technical data: IP address, device, pages viewed, and cookies or local storage

How we use it

To run the site and make preview pictures; to fill and support orders, returns and warranty claims; to answer messages; to connect you with a shop you choose; to prevent fraud; to improve Rig Builder; and to send account and order emails. We send marketing email only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe anytime.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that run the site (hosting by Vercel, database and login by Supabase, payments by Stripe, email, and the AI image services that create your preview pictures), with distributors, manufacturers and carriers who ship your order, with shops you ask us to contact, and with authorities when the law requires it or to prevent fraud.

Cookies

Essential cookies and local storage only (sign-in, your Jeep, saved looks).

How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is open, order records for as long as tax law requires (usually 7 years), and photos until you delete them.

Your choices and rights

Edit your garage and saved looks in your account. Email support@rigbuilder.com to get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and photos, and we'll respond within 30 days. Some states give extra rights; we honor them. We don't sell or "share" personal information for cross-context advertising.

Security

HTTPS everywhere, and limited access to personal data. Payments are processed by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1).

Kids

Not for children under 13.
